Trisolistice

3 female solos were suggested to a producer as working material for an experimental dance film. While considering the distinct temporalities of dance performance here and now in relation to time and film, we opted for a radical choice: to make a dance film using only a stills camera. This play of perception allowed another quality of the original work, that of the dance, to be seen.

In Trisolistice dance sets out to encounter events specific to urban exteriors, and the stills camera is a counterweight to the temporal fluidity.
