Céu Cinzento

Created for the workshop of Brazilian choreographers of the São Paulo Dance Company, Céu Cinzento de Clébio Oliveira, addressing the theme of impossible love and becoming a promising talent.
Inspired by the myth of Romeo and Juliet, the choreographer works on a single duet, imagining that the two lovers, instead of dying, become blind. The Duo of a fortnight is one with one - one looks at oneself, one looks for oneself, one finds oneself, one separates oneself.

Oliveira, Clébio

Clébio Oliveira is a dancer, choreographer and professor of Brazilian contemporary dance.
In 2006, Jornal do Brasil, one of the most important newspapers in Rio de Janeiro, awarded her the title of "Best choreographer in 2006" with the work "All We Keep Waiting For ...". Since starting to develop his choreographic work, Clébio has won more than fifteen awards as best choreographer and dancer in various festivals in Brazil.
Invited by the Ballet Theater Kiel (Germany), Clébio directed in January 2009 "Something is ending, something is beginning". T
In his choreographic language, Clébio offers a dialogue between traditional Brazilian culture and elements of contemporary dance, which allows him to present something unique, sophisticated and aesthetically diverse. He also explores the complexity and potentiality of the body, alternating strength, investigation, poetry and sensitivity. This diversification generates a particular aesthetic, mixing dance techniques, theater and popular culture.
He also danced for four years for the dance company Deborah Colker and three years for the company Toulas Limnaios. With these companies, he has danced in the most important festivals and tours of Europe, Asia and South America.
Clébio lives in Berlin and has been working in Germany since 2008. He still works part-time in Brazil.
