"Dance of spirits" est une création videodanse, animée en live à partir de corps dansants de l'ocean Indien et réalisée dans le cadre de la soirée de clôture du Festival  International de Danse Animée 2020. 

En faisant intervenir un double dispositif vidéonumérique, en prise  de vue réelle et en temps réel, dans le processus de création, Marianne  Louise Lebon interroge la place de l'« l’Esprit » du danseur placé dans  un environnement plastique polysémique. L'exploration des propres  sensations internes (kinesthésie) de la vidéaste-plasticienne est le  point de départ d'un art animé, sans cesse en équilibre entre le  souvenir et l'imaginaire du mouvement dansé. 

L'utilisation du numérique, brouillant les frontières entre  performance dansée et image animée, nous fait assister à une nouvelle  expression de la danse.

Marianne ML conducted plastic and poetical post-universitary research in  dance in connection with digital video. She directed videodanses for  festivals dedicated or in the form of clips for electronic artists  (Kiosk Records) and VJ performances in lives (Live Performers Meeting,  evenings IRL) where still one or more dancing body. Upstream, she works  with professional dancers and amateurs, with built choreographic  creations or free improvisations.

Former student in Arts and  Digital Technologies at the University of Rennes, in 2008 she turned to  contemporary dance and its different forms at the time of the  multimedia, and has been a pioneering theoretical research on the  passage of the body dancing in its image.

Hybridization, metamorphosis and transfer to the computer age issues are central in her research.

Hangars Numériques is an interdisciplinary creation laboratory created in 2014 and based in Saint-Denis de La Réunion. The structure brings together different skills inherent to the field of interdisciplinary digital creation.
