Appartement 27

As if fantasy would become bodies, places, energy and movement. Beyond the stage, elsewhere, where everything is played, an intimate universe, where the bodies are expressions of the soul and its desires. A series of six scenes, a unique choreographic and cinematographic vision, almost secret. Far from the logic of exhibitionism,  before our eyes a dance of seduction and bewitchment  plays out, where we lose our souls and bodies in a series of moving tableaux.

Through the body, the self becomes an object of transference of desire and chaos. A physical translation of what is violently played  out in the deepest place of the being, something behind the decor,  the image is forcing us into introspection. And the bodies through dance become animated to penetrate and pierce the spectator. And these tableaux weave a net between the universal and the singular, where the fetishes of our soul play between themselves, repeating rituals of desire, power, silence and suffering.

Francheteau, Élodie

Elodie Francheteau trained in Nantes' conservatoire where she received a gold medal, and then in Paris' conservatoire, where she received the first prize of the Jury by unanimity. She works with Frederic Hertin on a hip-hop contemporary capoeira piece and meets Karine Saporta, dancing for her in various projects as a performer. In 2008, she meets Catherine Langlade for her création "dance D", dance vidéo project about Marguerite Duras, and performs as a dancer in the project. Since 2006, Elodie directed and choreographed short danced films such as "Appartement 27", shown on Canal +, SVT (Sweden), Moviela (Canada), screened at festivals in France and awarded in the festival prisdecourts in 2007. Her second film, "Tocqueville", was broadcasted on SVT (Sweden), won the Jury Award at the festival Bazar't production in October 2009, and was also programmed in various French and foreign festivals including through video dance festivals (Brazil, Portugal). Since 2009, she makes recordings, demo tapes as well as video projects for various choreographers such as Lola Keraly, Frédéric Lescure, Elodie Bergerault. In 2011 she produced "N°4", an experimental work, in collaboration with Lola Keraly.
She is currently putting the finishing touches to "The Red carpet", a short film inspired by a photograph by Kourtney Roy, and on "Origines", a choreographic tale written by Marion Ruffié.
