Eins Zwei Drei

Dans les pièces de Martin Zimmermann, les corps, les objets et les  situations remplacent les mots. Son théâtre sans paroles tient du cirque  - la formation première de l’artiste suisse - mais aussi de la danse et  des arts plastiques, dans une détonante alchimie qui multiplie les  collisions visuelles. Sa dernière création a pour décor un musée très  contemporain, incarnation « de l’élégance, du bon goût et de l’ordre ».  Dans cet univers régi par des codes aussi tacites que rigoureux, trois  personnages se heurtent à l’institution, à ses murs et à leurs propres  limites, dans un irrésistible dérèglement. Lutte de pouvoirs, tentation  de la soumission ou désir de liberté : accompagné par un pianiste live,  le trio d’interprètes à la fois acteurs, danseurs et circassiens incarne  les conflits en germe dans toute société. Jusqu’à la rupture, ou  l’invention de nouvelles règles. I.C.

Zimmermann, Martin

Martin Zimmermann was born in 1970 and grew up in Wildberg, a small Swiss village. After studying set design, he graduated from the Centre National des Arts du Cirque (C.N.A.C.) in France. Following his return to Zurich in 1998 he began to work as a choreographer and director. Ever since then, Martin Zimmermann has worked in partnership mainly with the composer and director Dimitri de Perrot with whom he co-directs the company Zimmermann & de Perrot. They have performed their productions around the world. Several of their pieces were created at Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne: Hoi (2001, Gaff Aff (2006), Öper Öpis (2008) and Hans was Heiri (2012)

Plasson, Fabien

Born in 1977, Fabien Plasson is a video director specialized in the field of performing arts (dance , music, etc).

During his studies at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Lyon (joined in 1995) Fabien discovered video art. He was trained by various video artists (Joel Bartoloméo Pascal Nottoli , Eric Duyckaerts , etc).
He first experimented with the creation of installations and cinematic objects.

From 2001 to 2011, he was in charge of Ginger & Fred video Bar’s programming at La Maison de la Danse in Lyon. He discovered the choreographic field and the importance of this medium in the dissemination, mediation and pedagogical approach to dance alongside Charles Picq, who was a brilliant video director and the director of the video department at that time.

Today, Fabien Plasson is the video director at La Maison de la Danse and in charge of the video section of Numeridanse.tv, an online international  video library, and continues his creative activities, making videos of concerts, performances and also creating video sets for live performances.
