RONE x (LA)HORDE x BALLET NATIONAL DE MARSEILLE

Rone

Rone, whose real name is Erwan Castex, born in Boulogne-Billancourt, is a French electronic musician. In just a few records, Rone has established himself as a major figure in the French electronic scene. Eager for encounters and artistic experiences, he married his beats with the imaginaries of novelists (Alain Damasio), choreographers (La Horde), classical composers (Benjamin Britten) and film directors (Frédéric Farrucci).

(LA)HORDE - Marine Brutti, Jonathan Debrouwer, Arthur Harel

(LA)HORDE is a collective that was founded in 2013 by the three artists Marine Brutti, Jonathan Debrouwer and Arthur Harel.
Together they question codes of various artistic disciplines, especially contemporary live art and performing arts.
At  the head of the Ballet National de Marseille since September 2019, they  have created choreographic works, films, video installations and  performances, that always evolve around the body in movement.
From  the interaction and the juxtaposition of these different media, they  develop scenarios and actions that take up radically contemporary themes  and questions.

Ballet national de Marseille

Back in 1972, Roland Petit created the Ballets de Marseille. Having lost  its -s, the Ballet has become a Centre Chorégraphique National in 1984  wille  be run by the collective (LA)HORDE.

The creation and  dissemination of shows by the Ballet and guest artists are at the heart  of what it does. Very much rooted in our time, curious about and open to  the world, the BNM is also a prestigious part of Marseille’s cultural  heritage, close to Parc Borély.
