Et mon cœur a vu à foison est une pièce tout en exubérance gothique, qui force le trait, dépasse la mesure : une pièce « monstrueuse ».  Construite comme un polyptyque, la pièce déroule un cortège de corps  pris de frénésie. Des corps qui se montrent dans leur stupidité, dans  leur faiblesse, des corps qui se répandent dans leur insolente présence,  des corps exténués, des corps en transe qui trouvent étrangement des  inventions corporelles inouïes. L’iconographie concernant les triomphes  de la mort, des tapisseries médiévales, les grandes scènes de  possessions démoniques et de guérisons miraculeuses, l’iconographie des  hôpitaux de Charenton et de la Salpêtrière, les films d’horreur et de  possession de Zulawski à Argento, des danses ethniques rituelles de  transe nous ont servi de matériel de création.
Le travail de composition musicale de Robin Leduc a été de  s’interroger sur les formes médiévales – ballades, rondeaux, chansons –  ainsi que sur la polyphonie et les rythmes de transe. Comment créer une  musique d’une apparente pauvreté alors que les glissements d’accords,  les transformations rythmiques sont ciselés dans le détail ?
La créatrice lumières Valérie Sigward a construit un objet lumineux  suspendu, comme autant d’astres en chute, qui sculpte et nimbe l’espace.  Le nimbe est un disque lumineux utilisé pour représenter des  personnages défunts.
Corine Petitpierre a créé un univers plastique qui oscille entre  simplicité et profusion, entre parure tribale et parure théâtrale. Les  costumes accompagnent, soulignent et font partie intégrante de la  dramaturgie.

Alban Richard discovered contemporary dance while he was pursuing literary and musical studies. From the late 1990s, he worked for various choreographers such as Odile Duboc, Olga de Soto and Rosalind Crisp.

In 2000, Alban Richard founded Ensemble l'Abrupt for which he created about thirty very different pieces, always in close interaction with a musical work whose writing and formal structure he questioned. Consequently, each creation opens up new research and a new performance style, setting itself apart from the previous one. The way he develops his shows, using restricted improvisations to devise the work directly on stage, encourages the performers to become creators of their own dance.

Alban Richard has collaborated with the Alla francesca ensemble, Les Talens Lyriques, Les Percussions de Strasbourg, the Ensemble intercontemporain, IRCAM and the Cairn, Instant Donné and Alternance ensembles, as well as with composers Arnaud Rebotini, Sebastian Rivas, Erwan Keravec, Jérôme Combier, Laurent Perrier, Raphaël Cendo, Robin Leduc, Paul Clift, Wen Liu and Matthew Barnson.

A prolific choreographer, Alban Richard is regularly invited by ballets and companies, both internationally (Canada, Lithuania, Norway) and in France, to create commissioned works.

Since 2015 he has been artistic director of the centre chorégraphique national de Caen en Normandie, with a project based on both his practice as an author and on connecting with the territory and its inhabitants.

After studies of mathematics preparatory class and medecine studies, Luc Riolon begins to make films within the framework of his Faculty of Medicine, then met the famous choreographers of the 80s (Maguy Marin, Mark Tompkins, Josef Nadj, Daniel Larrieu Daniel, Odile Duboc, Josette Baiz, Angelin Prljocaj, etc.) with whom he shoots numerous films (re-creation for the camera, the illegal securements). In the 80s with the American choreographer Mark Tompkins he introduces the video on the stage, broadcasting live on big screens the images which he shoots with his camera by being on the stage with the dancers, mixing live images and pre-recorded images. With Daniel Larrieu he participates in the creation of the famous show WATERPROOF, the contemporary choreography which takes place in a swimming pool, by filming live) the dancers dancing in the water and mixing the live images with pre-recorded underwater images. This choreography has been shown in many countries (USA, Canada, Spain, England…)
Then he collaborates during 10 years with the famous french TV producer Eve Ruggieri for her programs" Musics in the heart ". He shoots with her of numerous documentaries about classical music, opera singers and dance. From 1999 he directs documentaries of scientific popularization, by following researchers attached to the resolution of a particular ecologic enigma. These two artistic and scientific domains which can seem separated are nevertheless, for Luc Riolon, connected by the same approach : the deep desire to understand the world, by the art or by the scientific research, and to restore it to the largest number. Among his recent scientific documentaries, we can quote for example " The Enigma of the Black Caiman ", Living and dying in the swamp " or " The Nile delta: The end of the miracle ". “Chernobyl, a natural history ? “ These documentaries of scientific popularization recently have been awarded in international festivals.

Le centre chorégraphique national de Caen en Normandie est un espace de projets partagés qui interroge le monde dans lequel nous vivons, un lieu du sensible où la danse est au cœur d’une vision artistique, politique et citoyenne. C'est un centre de création, d'accueil, de production et de diffusion de pièces chorégraphiques, un pôle ressource de formation et de recherche. C’est un lieu en partage avec les artistes, les habitants, les associations, les institutions culturelles, un lieu ouvert à la création artistique, au répertoire contemporain. 

Éveiller la curiosité, stimuler les désirs de connaissance, s’ouvrir aux différences, partager de véritables expériences artistiques, intellectuelles et humaines, tels sont les enjeux d'Alban Richard pour le centre chorégraphique national de Caen en Normandie.
