Three studies of flesh

In Three studies of flesh, dancer Mélanie Lomoff and electronic music composer Josh Anio Grigg are inspired by the work of Francis Bacon. From the study of "la logique de la sensation" (the logic of sensation), the starting point of the painter's work, Bacon's hybrid creatures find themselves transposed by dance on pointe. The dancer invents a unique gesture made of extreme tensions, imbalances, extensions at the limit of contortion.
