Léna BLOU, Dr. in dance anthropology, dancer, choreographer and teacher
Lēnablou has been influenced by dance since the age of six. She discovered the profession of dancer-performer alongside Jacqueline Cachemire and Jean Nanga and renewed this experience with other choreographers: Quentin Rouiller, Jean-Jacques Vidal; directors: Claude Moreau, Gerty Dambury and musicians: Luther François, Jacques Marie-Bass, Charly Chomereau-Lamotte... From the start, Lēnablou rubbed shoulders with the greatest including Bruce Taylor, Carolyn Carlson, Walter Nicks, Alvin Mac Duffy, Anna Czajun, Dominique Bagouet, Alphonse Thiérou, Carlotta Ikéda, Joe Alegado, Frey Faust, among others.
Throughout her career as a dancer and choreographer, she began numerous artistic collaborations: Maurice Béjart (Switzerland), Germaine Acogny (Senegal), Haruko Nara (Japan), Gino Sitson (USA), Jacques Schwarzt-Bart (Guadeloupe), Bernadot Montet (France), James Carles (France / Cameroon), Jeanguy Saintus (Haiti), Rui Moreira (Brazil), etc. Pioneer of a new aesthetics of contemporary dance from Guadeloupe's traditional heritage, Lēnablou continues to probe, through her creations, the essence of a choreographic writing based on Techni'ka and the concept of Bigidi: aesthetics harmony from disorder.

Two methodologies transmitted by James Carlès and recognized internationally are part of the artistic and pedagogical project of the center :
- R.E.S.E.T. : Movement techniques with multiple applications for dancers and the person: form, health, expression, creativity, physicality are the assets of this method.
- James Carlès Dance Methodology : Choreographic technique for artists and thinkers. It allows dancers to develop their awareness and mastery of movement (flow), their gesture and their infinite technical and choreographic applications.
More than 2100 students have been trained in the span of 20 years, of which :
- 40% became artists/dancers
- 10% are working in cultural administration, in distribution or production
- 40% became teachers
- 10% are working in the body and well-being professions
